2026 Business Partnership Award Winners
Nearly 400 participants turned out for the District’s 2026 Volunteer and Business Partner Awards Breakfast at the Kravis Center this past April. While Grove Park Elementary School considers all of its business partners to be outstanding winners, four nominees won District awards at the gala event. Principal Marzella Mitchell took time out from her busy schedule to host a table of Grove Park’s winners and their guests. Attendees were treated to a dazzling environment and a hearty breakfast with musical performances by the Dr. Joaquin Garcia High School jazz ensemble directed by John Rodriguez. The event emcee was WPBF Channel 25 news anchor Erin Guy. After welcoming remarks from Superintendent Mike Burke, winners were called to the stage to get their awards and then gathered at the Step and Repeat to have photos taken with members of their nominating school/department and attending School Board members. A full roster of winning volunteers and business partners can be viewed on the 2026 Volunteer & Business Partnership Awards page.
